About the Build

Finished in Classic Pastel Blue color, this Defender is powered by a Nissan BD30 turbo diesel engine paired with a Garrett GT2860R turbo, giving it plenty of torque and quick spool-up for a responsive drive. The BD30 is a 3.0L, 4-cylinder diesel that’s been around since the late ’80s, originally used in Nissan’s commercial trucks and buses. It built a strong reputation in Eastern Europe and the Middle East for being tough, reliable, and easy to work on, which is why so many are still running today.

We’ve gone with a purely mechanical engine, similar in simplicity to the Land Rover 300Tdi and without ECU controls by choosing the BD30. It delivers that raw, mechanical feel while still benefiting from modern upgrades. We’ve paired it with a brand-new FS5W71C transmission, which makes shifting smooth and precise. This setup makes sense because it keeps upkeep straightforward: fewer electronics mean fewer failure points, repairs are simple and inexpensive, and the engine is known for being reliable and durable. It’s the kind of powertrain that thrives on minimal maintenance while giving you confidence both on and off the road.

With our tuning, this setup puts out around 170 hp, more than the Land Rover TD5 and the torque delivery makes it great for both highway cruising and off-road climbing. The turbo gives it that extra push when you need it, and the transmission keeps it feeling smooth and fun whether you’re in city traffic or tackling trails.

Custom Cabin Extension

This build features a fully custom cabin extension, designed to expand interior storage, seating and overall functionality. We removed the traditional roof and meticulously redesigned the cabin while retaining the pickup’s utility. This unique upgrade offered daily practicality.

Roof Bar and Lighting

Function met form with a heavy-duty roof bar equipped with all-around LED lighting—front, rear, and sides—for superior visibility on any adventure. Whether you’re exploring off-road trails or navigating city streets, this upgrade reflects our approach to building Defender Land Rover for sale units that are truly ready for anything.

Interior and Comfort Upgrades

The cabin included an iPad-based infotainment and navigation system, complete with Alpine speakers for a high-end audio experience. A custom-built air conditioning unit, installed per the client’s request, ensured consistent climate control, even in extreme temperatures. The addition of a new steering wheel enhanced comfort and precision on the road. These details underscore our dedication to price-for-value Land Rover imports that elevate both form and function.
