About the Build

1994 Land Rover Defender 110 – 3.5L V8 Station Wagon | Fully Restored by Phoenix Restorations

This 1994 Land Rover Defender 110 has undergone a comprehensive, ground-up restoration by Phoenix Restorations, with a focus on structural integrity, mechanical reliability, and long-term durability. It is currently for sale at $150,000 USD.

At the core of the build is a fully restored chassis, which has been stripped, inspected, precision-welded where necessary, sandblasted, and hot-dip galvanized. This process ensures maximum resistance to corrosion and significantly extends the lifespan of the vehicle, making it suitable for both on-road and off-road use in demanding environments.

The original 3.5-liter V8 engine has been completely overhauled. This includes a full internal rebuild with new pistons, piston rings, bearings, seals, and gaskets, along with reconditioning of critical components such as the crankshaft, camshaft, and cylinder heads. The engine has been recalibrated and tested to deliver smooth, reliable performance while preserving the classic V8 character.

Due to the heavily corroded condition of the original body, no legacy body components were reused. Instead, the vehicle has been rebuilt using a completely new body assembly, including all major panels. The new body has undergone epoxy priming to prevent corrosion at its core, followed by a static paint application process to ensure a consistent, high-quality finish with long-term durability.

Finished in a custom Light Sage Green, the exterior is complemented by metallic grey accents across key components, including the front grille, bumper, door frames, and door handles—creating a refined contrast that elevates the vehicle’s presence while maintaining its rugged identity.

Inside the cabin, the vehicle features a fully redesigned and reupholstered interior in cognac brown, combining premium leather and Alcantara for a balance of durability and luxury. All seating surfaces, trims, and finishes have been carefully selected and installed to match the elevated character of the build.

The electrical system has been entirely renewed, with new wiring harnesses, connections, and electronic components installed throughout the vehicle. This ensures improved reliability, safety, and compatibility with modern accessories.

This Defender is not a cosmetic refresh. it is a true mechanical and structural restoration, built to deliver the look of a classic with the dependability of a modernized platform.
